MISSION
Overseeing the movement, distribution and storage of supplies and materials in a company. They are responsible for planning routes, analysing budgets and processing shipments.
Responsabilities
Logistics Planning and CoordinationLogistics Plan Development: Create detailed plans for materials, equipment and personnel management in anticipation of project needs.Coordination with Suppliers: Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Negotiate prices, delivery terms and conditions.Transport Planning: Organise the transport of materials to and from site, minimising delays and costs. Materials ManagementInventory Control: Supervise and manage the inventory of materials, ensuring that there are no excesses or shortages that affect the pace of the work.Receipt and Storage of Materials: Ensure that materials received are properly stored on site and maintained in a suitable condition for use.Site Materials Distribution: Plan and supervise the internal distribution of materials within the site, ensuring that they are available at the correct time and place. Supervision of PersonnelWarehouse and Transport Team Management: Coordinate warehouse, logistics and transport staff, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently.Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all logistics personnel comply with safety, health and environmental standards. Space Management at the SiteLay-out design: Design the site logistics layout, planning storage areas, loading and unloading zones, and internal routes to minimise interference with other site operations.Space Optimisation: Manage site space efficiently, avoiding overcrowding and ensuring that all materials and equipment are organised. Waste ManagementWaste Management and Recycling: Coordinate the proper disposal of waste generated during construction, complying with environmental and safety regulations.Waste Logistics: Establish logistical processes for the collection, temporary storage and off-site transportation of waste. Coordination with other Project AreasInterdepartmental Communication: Collaborate with other areas, such as the construction team, engineering and management, to ensure that logistics operations do not interfere with key project activities.Schedule Review: Review and coordinate the work schedules of the different areas to ensure that materials and resources arrive in a timely manner. Monitoring and ReportingReporting: Produce periodic reports to project management on the status of logistics, progress and potential problems. Risk ManagementLogistics Risk Identification: Detect possible risks that could affect logistics, such as delays in the delivery of materials, problems with suppliers or equipment failures.Risk Mitigation: Implement contingency plans to minimise the impact of logistical risks on the site.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, operations engineering, supply chain management or similar degree areas.This can be supplied with proven experience in the job.Office suite, Excel and WordOrganisation and planningTeamworkProactivity and ability to make decisions based on experience.Accustomed to working with a high level of autonomy
