SAP FPG/FPSL Specialist

You Will
- Provide expertise in SAP Financial Posting Gateway (FPG) to clients across financial services
- Deliver high quality SAP software implementation and consulting services
- Establish productive client relationships
- Collaborate as team member in global working environment
- Communication skills with client and at global management levels
- Experience and willingness to develop technical skills
- Support the setup and operation of a group-wide second-level help desk for SAP FPG
- Maintain and develop the SAP FPG system based on SAP S/4HANA Finance including cooperation in the implementation of system upgrades/SAP releases
- Set the account determination and maintenance and setting the most current chart of accounts
- Participate in or managing projects for the maintenance and further development of the central systems
- Being the contact for reporting in interaction with relevant interface/target systems (Data Warehouse, Data Delivery Hub, GL connector)
Your Skills
- Completed degree in business administration, economics, business informatics, mathematics or comparable training
- Several years of professional experience in the introduction, maintenance and further development of the SAP FPG or FPSL solution for integrated financial reporting/sub-ledger
- Knowledge of (group) accounting and accounting-relevant knowledge of IFRS 17 (and Solvency II) and the associated processes
- Experience in project work or implementation of projects
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Actuarial or a related field
- Experience in at least one SAP full life-cycle implementations involving integration of SAP FPG (or FPSL) into FI.
- Knowledge of IFRS17, Solvency II. other local GAAP knowledge beneficial.
- Hands on experience in SAP FPG (FPSL), Insurance Analyzer or Bank Analyzer is preferred, in functional or techno-functional role.
- Technical or functional expertise in SAP applications modules in SAP FI is an advantage
- Good understanding in financial accounting and reporting practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English and German
- Capability to work well under pressure, in particular under cost and time constraints
- Ability to excel in a global team environment
- Comprehensive understanding of the business processes in the area of sub-ledger accounting as well as integration into the general ledger accounting.
- Reliable, independent and result-oriented way of working
- Quick comprehension, creativity and organisational skills
- Excellent teamwork and integration skills in a group-wide environment
