**Your Role and Responsibilities**
As a Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells, leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM's offerings and technologies. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.

You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills, work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.

Your primary responsibilities include:

- Guide customers through their financial processes and best practices related to account reconciliations and mass journal posting templates
- Perform initial setup, prototype, configuration, and testing to support the design sessions and to fulfill the customer’s business requirements.

Recommend best practices for configuring SAP Financial Product Sub-Ledger (FPSL) considering the overall architecture to achieve integration, high performance, and stability.
- Design and document the required configurations for the FPSL solution(s) per the blueprint, including documenting test results, and support go-live efforts
- Utilize technical and industry Knowledge to identify complex client issues and build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery, as well as networking in professional organizations.
- Participate in sales and pre-sales activities as they pertain to SAP FPSL and/or other related fields, including networking.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Deep experience in SAP Finance with financial services expertise i.e. SAP Bank Analyzer, SAP Insurance Analyzer, or other relevant predecessor products to FPSL
- Full life cycle implementations in SAP Finance with financial services
- Product expertise and hands-on business experience in SAP FPSL for Banking, with deep knowledge of templates and configuration to comply with IFRS 9 and US GAAP requirements
- Product expertise and hands-on business experience in SAP FPSL for Insurance:

- Deep Knowledge of SAP ERP and latest SAP Financial tools.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Experience in a high revenue producing environment
- Product expertise and hands-on business experience in Smart Close, Intercompany Hub, Variance and Compliance.
- Knowledge of upcoming changes in SAP Finance landscape, as well as an eagerness to learn, prototype, and grow expertise in the latest relevant financial technologies
- Demonstrated track record of leadership, client management, and delivery.
