At ING we are looking for a VP in Corporate Sector Lending – Wholesale Banking

Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic VP to join our Corporate Sector Lending and Strategic Finance Team that:

    Your key responsibilities:

    As a VP you will:

    • responsible for a suitable portfolio of clients in all credit-related matters, with focus on origination and execution of new requests, but also taking responsibility for in life management
    • structure and lead the negotiation of the credit facilities with the customer (in partnership with the relationship manager) and the follow up of the implementation/documentation of new credit facilities with other lending colleagues and/or in collaboration with inhouse Legal Department or external legal counsel. 
    • lead the origination and execution of complex / non-standard deals with support of other lending colleagues and advising teams such as Syndication, Capital Structuring & Advisory, Debt Capital Markets… 
    • responsible for the end to end execution of lending opportunities according to ING policy and defend the credit request for approval to relevant approval mandate holders. 
    • acquire and keep up to date your knowledge on lending products, ING policies and also the general economic environment.

      • 8-11 years of work experience in the financial sector, preferably within a corporate & structured lending related environment,  
      • excellent knowledge of financial analysis
      • commercial drive, pro-active mindset and analytical skills
      • good communication and negotiation skills
      • team spirit
      • the capability to work independently
      • ability to work in agile teams
      • fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English
