Working format:

Cyprus: Relocation package is provided.

Spain: we are only able to hire candidates who possess a DNI (for Spanish nationals) or an NIE (for foreign nationals). Relocation support is not provided.

Poland: employment will be under 'Umowa o Pracę' (UoP). Relocation support is not provided.

B2B full remote option can be also considered. About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Team Lead to lead our development efforts. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in customer acquisition teams(products), coupled with extensive technical skills and experience managing cross-functional teams. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for coordinating and synchronizing development across backend, frontend, mobile, and QA teams, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery aligned with our business objectives.

, Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership

Serve as the primary point of contact for all task/alert/bug flows related to the project.

Set tasks for the product, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

Coordinate with other product team leads to align on interaction mechanisms (e.g., API, message buses) for cross-product initiatives.

Write and maintain up-to-date product documentation, essential for onboarding new team members. Regularly allocate time for documentation or delegate it to the team.

Act as the code owner in team repositories, overseeing code quality and allocating time for refactoring when necessary.

Oversee and synchronize development efforts across backend, frontend, mobile, and QA teams to ensure efficient task execution.

Ensure tasks aligned with the product lead’s objectives are completed on time and within scope.

, Organizational Leadership:

Lead and manage several cross-functional teams (5-9 members in each team, including backend developers, frontend developers, mobile developers, and testers.)

Align with the product owner on task timelines, priorities, technical debt, improvements, and alerts.

Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team leaders to ensure alignment and address any issues

Lead the onboarding phase for new hires, explaining the product components and facilitating their integration into the team.

Conduct final interview rounds for potential new team members and make hiring decisions.

Distribute equity options among team members.

Collaborate with the product lead to conduct performance reviews.

Drive the development of both technical and soft skills within the team.

Represent the team at architectural committee meetings and ensure adherence to the decisions made.

, Technical Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience as a backend developer in the fintech industry

In-depth knowledge and practical application of OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture.

Excellent knowledge of .NET (.Net Core) and C#.

Experience in BPM platforms (e.g Camunda)

Experience in RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Raddis and Kafka.

Knowledge of what KYC (know your customer) is and experience in customer acquisition teams is a plus

English - B2 level at least and willingness to conduct work communication in English.
