We are seeking an ambitious Controlling Director to oversee all aspects of financial management, accounting, and treasury within the organization. This position demands a strong financial acumen, business sense, strategic thinking, and the ability to provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making for the senior leadership team. The Controlling Director will collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the achievement of organizational objectives.
👩🏽💻 What You’ll Be Doing
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Lead the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads and senior management, providing insights to support strategic planning and resource allocation. Manage cash flow forecasting and optimize cash management strategies to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and investment opportunities. Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and mitigating financial risks. Coordinate audits with external auditors and regulatory agencies, ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial statements and compliance with regulatory requirements. Continuously evaluate financial processes and systems to identify opportunities for efficiency gains, automation, and enhancement of financial reporting capabilities. Provide leadership and guidance to the controlling team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development. Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives, driving sustainable growth and profitability. Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to senior management, the board of directors, and other stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

You will be part of the Finance area (13) leading a person and reporting to the CFO
🦄 Our Ideal "Player"
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Extensive experience in financial management, accounting, and reporting, with a proven track record of leadership and achievement. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and achieving results. Proficiency in financial management systems and software, as well as Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
