What will make you successful in this position?
- +3yr experience in Power BI
- Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
- Strong knowledge of SQL.
- Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models according to business rules.
- Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
- Experience in Adapting end-to-end development of Power BI Dashboards: designing, developing, validating, de- bugging, implementing, testing and documenting.
- Able to implement row level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
- Able to configure gateway and scheduling Power BI reports updates-
- Data visualization best practices and story-telling
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving performance issues (data model, dax)
- Should have knowledge and skills on tools such as SQL Server and Dax Studio.
- Fluent in English (above B2, you will work in English) and Spanish.
Nice to have skills:
- Strong knowledge of M Language
- Agile methodologies (Scrum)
- Knowledge of tools such as: Power Automate, Power Apps, ALM Toolkit, Visual Studio...
- DA100 – DATA ANALYST Microsoft Certification is recommended
What will be your mission?
As a Power BI Senior Developer, your responsibilities includes to understand client’s functional needs and perform requirement analysis; assure efficient task execution; raise clarifications / issues / concerns regarding work output.
You also have to manage team tasks and schedules, maintain effective working relationship with team members and supervisors and get involved in calls/status reporting and daily standup calls for the project.
You will be an active member of a team that works closely with other disciplines/roles and that have common development objectives.
Your main goals: Understand and analyze business requirements. Work along data engineer to define and desing the best architecture to perform reports in Power BI. Define and design dashboards. Develop complex metrics using DAX. Deploy solution into Power BI Service. Embed reports into external application. Manage Power BI Workspace.
