.Grow Your Career with NTT DATAAs a Power BI Developer on the Data Informatics team, you'll work closely with Business Partners and Stakeholders, analyzing the business requirements, designing solutions, and mapping data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.Our Power BI Developers are key members of the IT Services group, bringing an analytical mindset and a problem-solving aptitude to build multi-dimensional data models, along with interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports - directly supporting business decision-making.What you'll be doingESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDesigning and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business stakeholders' needsProven ability to design, develop, manage, document and troubleshoot with the MS Power BI suite (Power Query / M / DAX)Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysisCollaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposesDeveloping self-service models, and data analytics using Power BI serviceEnsuring data security and compliance with best practicesTroubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reportsProviding training and support to end users on using Power BIDocumenting data sources, data transformations, and report logic for future referenceDeveloping user guides and documentation for end-usersKeeping up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and trendsAbility to work in collaboration with the off-shore team to coordinate moves to production and prioritize report developmentProvide ongoing support and training to users on PowerBI tools and customized data analytics apps.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESProficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creationStrong understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP & ETL frameworks), as well as SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)Experience with development and support Microsoft Power AppsStrong understanding of data modeling and data visualization conceptsExperience with SQL for data manipulation and extractionExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as a part of a teamAdaptability to changing business requirementsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEA bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, or relevant fields3 years related professional experienceRelevant certifications, e.G., SAP, Microsoft AzurePower BI certifications are a plusPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSPrimarily walking, sitting, standing, and bending.Able to hear and speak on a telephone.Close visual work on a computer terminal.Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required to operate computer keyboard, mouse, other technical instruments, and for performing cable terminations and testing
