Desde Solutia Lifesciences estamos seleccionando un/a Development Scientist para la planta química de la multinacional CRODA en Fogars de la Selva, Barcelona.
Misión:
La persona seleccionada se responsabilizará del desarrollo, escalado y optimización de procesos nuevos y existentes. Reportando directamente al responsable del departamento, sus funciones serán:
Funciones principales y responsabilidades básicas:
- Aplicar los conocimientos técnicos para desarrollar productos nuevos y optimizar los procesos existentes, desde el laboratorio hasta la producción a gran escala (escalado) de productos.
- Diseñar y realizar experimentos de laboratorio. Revisar los resultados y buscar respuestas a los problemas encontrados a través de la recopilación de datos y la investigación. Realizar informes y presentar resultados para definir cómo continuar el proyecto junto al supervisor.
- Planificar y organizar múltiples proyectos que van desde días hasta >12 meses y priorizar en consecuencia con apoyo del supervisor. Esto requiere a menudo la realización de múltiples experimentos de diversa complejidad.
- Identificar problemas en conjunto con el equipo (tanto simples como complejos) y brindar soluciones creativas mediante la realización de investigaciones detalladas con otros departamentos para maximizar la tasa de RFT y la eficiencia del proceso.
- Proporcionar soporte técnico al departamento de producción según sea necesario, p.e. resolución de problemas de fabricación, cambios de procesos, investigaciones de incidencias, rol de químico de proceso rotatorio, etc.
- Producir muestras para su envío y evaluación por parte de los clientes según lo solicite el equipo de ventas.
- Trabajar siempre de acuerdo con la política SHE del site y los requisitos específicos del laboratorio. Sentirse responsable de su propia seguridad y del resto. Participar en estudios de seguridad.
- Registrar formalmente el trabajo realizado de acuerdo con los sistemas de gestión de calidad.
- Colaborar en las actividades del mantenimiento del laboratorio.
- Puede tener que realizar horarios adaptados para el seguimiento de pruebas que requieran los distintos proyectos, tanto a nivel de laboratorio como industrial.
Requisitos:
Esenciales:
- Grado o Diplomatura en Química, Ingeniería Química, bioquímica y/o similar
- Mínimo nivel medio de inglés oral y escrito (B2)
- 5 años de experiencia en puesto similar o en laboratorio R&D en un entorno industrial
Deseable:
- Valorable conocimientos de MS Office, SAP, AspenTech, HAZOP, DOE (diseño de experimentos), GMPs y sistemas de gestión.
- Valorable formación en seguridad de procesos.
