Product Manager Multiple Sclerosis
Direct report to Business Unit Head of MS, he/she will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of MS products, from product conception to commercialization. The Product Manager MS will work closely with internal cross-functional teams, especially medical affairs, market access, key account management and the international marketing team as well as medical & scientific experts and organizations and patient advocacy groups, to develop and execute comprehensive strategies and measures that address the unique challenges and needs of the MS markets.
BEING HIS/HER MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand the specific unmet needs and challenges of patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders in the MS community. Collaborate with medical affairs, market access and business development teams to define brand requirements, prioritize, and optimally manage pre-launch, launch and post-launch phase. Engage with patient advocacy groups, key opinion leaders, and medical experts to gather market insights, understand unmet needs, and incorporate patient-centric perspectives into brand development and marketing strategies. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches, including developing and executing comprehensive launch plans, training materials, and supporting marketing campaigns in order to drive awareness and adoption of the MS brands. Monitor and analyse product performance, market trends, and competitive landscape within the MS space to identify areas for optimization and provide recommendations for product improvements or enhancements. Collaborate with medical affairs and regulatory affairs teams to ensure compliance with MS-specific regulations, guidelines, and ethical considerations throughout the product lifecycle. Develop and deliver indication-specific educational materials, MS awareness programs, and resources to support healthcare professionals and patient communities in close collaboration with medical affairs. Stay up-to-date with advancements in MS science, emerging therapies, and regulatory changes that impact the MS landscape. Close cooperation and coordination with the Medical Science Liaison Managers and Key Account Managers in the specific areas.WE REQUIRE:
Master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences or related fields 3-5 years of proven experience as a Product Manager in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a focus on MS. In-depth knowledge of MS, including an understanding of MS pathophysiology, patient journey, diagnosis challenges, and available treatment options. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies for MS. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and market conditions. Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with experience in budgeting and forecasting. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for market research, data analysis, and project management. Ethical and compliant behavior, adhering to company values and regulatory guidelines.
