Senior AWS Engineer - PagoNxtCountry: Spain

PagoNxt Trade is looking for a SENIOR AWS ENGINEER, based in our Boadilla del Monte (Madrid) office.

This position is for the Payments Hub team. We are currently extending our cloud native payments processing platform to Santander banks and other financial institutions, with the aim of providing a single access to most domestic and international payment methods at global scale.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Senior AWS Engineer , you will be part the transition from a decent system to a great system. You will learn and experiment and drive a x scaling of our platform. We are rapidly expanding our teams and the number of payments we process, and we will end up being one of the largest payments processors globally. You will learn new skills, behaviors and knowledge and apply them in a growth environment.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

We have decommissioned our current orchestration engine fully. We run our platform across multiple regions and in the future multiple cloud providers. Squads can do self-service for new microservices, databases, etc. Squads can spin up ephemeral environments on demand.

EXPERIENCE

+ years as cloud infrastructure in an agile environment. + years’ experience with AWS.

EDUCATION

Degree in computer science, or software engineering. AWS certifications are a plus.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, GCP, Helm, Terraform. Experience in Cyber security best practices. Knowledge of PCF or Tanzu (VMware). High English level is a must.
