The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio

If you want to work and learn in an interdisciplinary team of Finance, Legal, and Strategy (FLS) and want to have a strong impact on Personio from day one, the FLS team is the right place for you. We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Accountant - Accounts Payable (m/f/d). 
You will be playing an important role in our Core Accounting team, actively contributing to the development of the Accounts Payable function and accompanying us on our continued growth path.

This position can be office-based (hybrid) or fully remote from one of the following countries: Germany, Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands, or the UK.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

Processing of supplier invoice s Maintenance of master data Reconciliation  of open items and communication with suppliers Processing of travel and other expenses in compliance with tax regulations  Support in bank accounting Ensuring the quality of accounting and continuous optimization of our Accounts Payable processes Active participation in various projects, driving process optimization

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

Technical Skills You have a degree in business administration  (ideally with a focus on accounting) or comparable education  You have minimum of one year of relevant professional experience in accounting (experience in scale-up or capital market oriented companies is a plus) You have knowledge of the accounting regulations according to HGB (IFRS knowledge is a plus) as well as  knowledge of VAT You have worked already in ERP systems (Workday Financials is a plus) You use efficiently and professionally Excel / Google Sheets You are fluent in English Soft Skills You enjoy working  on new tasks You are proactive and motivated You c ommunicate well  with your colleagues You are characterized by a  precise and careful way of working You are ready to take ownership  and develop further You are looking forward to working in a dynamic and fast-growing (and not to forget fun) environment
