Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.

You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.

The start of the internship will be in early Oct 2023, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

Internship Description

Opportunity to join the Facility Management team in FMRE Business Partners area in Getafe. The main FMRE Business Partners are the entry points for all FMRE-related topics, being in charge of:

  • Interaction and exchanges with Business Partners

  • Coordination with service lines

  • Delivering site master plan to Ho site (Core sites)

  • Space management: which manages the company's physical space inventory including tracking and maintaining space and occupancy information. Develop and implement solutions for the offices for business needs in accordance to the FM strategy

To ensure that Airbus has the most suitable work environment for its employees and for the development of its activities, he/she must focus its work on the use of good practices to improve  its efficiency, reducing cost and increasing productivity.

One of the key activities of FMRE BPs team is to deliver the Site Master Plan. It is conducted on each site incorporating inputs from various other sub-processes, from all FM services & areas including the Real Estate Site Master Plan. 

Main activities will be:

  • Collaborate in the creation of the Site Masterplans for all sites of Spain. It collects and consolidates in a consistent plan all solutions from Facility Management for the future years for the business requirements in an interactive and comprehensive document, providing technical expertise on how best to maximise occupancy and space utilisation and providing best possible Space solutions to Airbus employees..

  • Ensure an optimal relationship with Airbus business partners, understand and anticipate business & customer needs including active demand management and supplier performance management to ensure delivery on time, quality and cost.

  • Manage company’s physical space inventory including tracking and maintaining space and occupancy information to ensure all necessary data & information for mid-term space evolution (Master planning) and a stable stakeholder management. Data analytics knowledge is very appreciated.

  • Design and promote innovation in Airbus work spaces according to market trends. 

  • Provides quantitative and qualitative data to support discussions and decision making at Management level. Contribute to reduce Airbus operating expenses by delivering cost saving targets through business transformation, proper supplier & contract management, implementation of new technologies and digitisation as well as process and business improvements and the optimal use of resources

Required skills

  • Master Degree in Architecture

  • Advanced level of English (C1 level).

  • Fluent level of Spanish.

  • Interest in developing project management skills

  • Good communication skills, learning orientation and proactive attitude

  • Real Estate knowledge will be highly appreciated
