Position: SAP PY French Consultant

Location : Spain, Portugal

Your candidacy is currently being considered for a requisition for an Alight Inc group company. As you may be aware, Alight has announced intent to divest its Payroll & Professional Services business to HIG Capital. After the transaction closes, this position will be aligned to the new Payroll & Professional Services owned by HIG Capital (‘Divested Group’). By applying for this position which will be with the Divested Group company, you understand and agree to the information you submitted for your application with Alight being shared with the Divested Group company. In addition, if you are made an offer of employment, it will be contingent on your undergoing and successfully completing a background check consistent with the Divested Group company employment policies.

Your mission:

Integrated into the AS department and under the supervision of an AS Cluster Lead, the overall responsibility of an AS Consultant is to support our outsourced clients as follows:

Deliver configuration/consulting payroll services (SAP HCM) Provide application support consultancy through advice, guidance, and appropriate functional and technical activities. Identify, manage and test SAP note application. Open and manage customer messages to SAP to request help support and corrections. Manage reported incidents and perform functional analysis and guidance / coaching on the technical way to implement it. Generate easy-to-maintain error free implementations and customizing respecting Alight best practices. Operate required system tests using either provided or self-generated test data, to ensure the applications/developments meet the agreed specifications. Provide documentation (both technical and functional) on issues handled. Manage personal daily priorities and assigned tickets, and ensure that his deadlines are met Regularly report on status and progress to the Application Maintenance Outsourcing (AMO) Team Manager.


What we ask for:

Bachelor or Master degree with a Business or Technical emphasis, or equivalent. Previous experience in SAP HCM application maintenance. French PY/PA/OM knowledge desired.  Verbal and written communication skills in English Strong interest in delivering high quality support in the field of Human Resources Service-oriented with a strong client focus and sense of accountability. Discretion and ability to respect the confidentiality of information.
