Verisure , operating under two brand names ( Securitas Direct & Verisure ) is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Team Leader for Data & Analytics IT Department . The role will part of a growing and talented Technology Team, and will report directly into our Data & Analytics Manager . This is a critical role that will help the Technology organization in the development and integration of the SW that will be built for a new family of products, delivering the world’s most advanced and intuitive smart alarm product suite.

Main responsibilities:

Responsible for the interlocution and management within Data & Analytics team, managing 3 different domains dedicated to develop & deliver data to the business teams, in the form and frequency they need.

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects within the three development domains. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within Budget. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and progress reports. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts and data engineers Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback Identify training and development needs and provide appropriate training opportunities Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and issues. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with business goals. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure customer satisfaction. Monitor and manage team workload and performance. Establish and maintain quality standards for all deliverables. Ensure proper documentation of all processes and workflows. Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team. Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability Collaborate with other team leaders and departments to ensure seamless project integration and delivery. Define in the short and medium term the strategy, in terms of hiring suppliers, based on the company's guidelines and the area of ​​economic control in IT. Knowledge (at least high level) of the architecture of the solution on their domains´products.

In an international context, cross team collaboration and continuous prioritization is a must, the Team leader guide and coach the teams and organization to follow Agile/Scrum practices and eventually become self – organized.

Communication and negotiations with both technical and business team will be part of daily tasks:

Improve transparency within the team. Remove impediments and facilitating getting the work done in a servant leader role. Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.

Permanent hire can be based in Madrid

Reports and organization structue

Direct reporting line into the IT Manager

Will have a team of more than 15 FTEs both internal and external.

Candidate profile

We see this role as critical for the achievement of Verisure’s growth and organizational transformation goals.

As result, we are looking for a high potential / top performer individual who will combine great time management skills as well as an analytical mind-set. The ideal candidate will be a strategic solution provider as well as operational enabler.

Masters or Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or IT related background. +8 years of experience in IT in the Data Analytics or Business Intelligence area, achieving a clear picture of an Enterprise IT landscape, managing Data development teams. Experience on a demanding Production Service environment . Proved experience in run Agile Methodologies and lead teams in this context. Experience as a Product Owner role in Data teams. High-class communication and leadership skills. Fluency in written and spoken English .

Will be a plus, but not a must:

Snowflake. Knowledge of data development methodologies, control version tools, integration/ continuous delivery and quality assurance (GIT, Devops, CI/CD, CRISP).
