What your role is

Our EUAU Snacks business is growing and needs a Sr. R&D Technician to support the growth of the business by collaborating with the team during the development and commercialization of innovation and renovation projects.

In this role you will lead R&D projects in the ‘Baked’ technology pilar leading HMM, renovation and innovation initiatives in the crunchy technology pillar. Key areas of expertise include product development, ingredients functionality and packaging materials and machine interactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Independent leadership of R&D projects in both product development and packaging Support/leads components of highly technical and/or complex projects in collaboration with other team members Identifies and initiates possibilities and solutions on innovation, renovation and HMM projects Plant trial leadership with internal and external manufacturers Subject matter expert in crunchy Develop and leverage internal and external networks/demonstrates the power of network to others Technician coaching and onboarding of other junior technicians, knowledge guardian, troubleshooting, problem solving Strong partner and high degree of collaboration with the R&D Snacks EUAU team 

What you will bring to the team
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

‘Formación Profesional de Grado Superior en Industria Alimentaria’ or similar 5+ year experience in food industry working in R&D teams High bias for action and ability to execute tasks with speed and accuracy Strong team collaboration skills, flexibility and agility Comfortable with ambiguity and fast changing priorities

Fluent in English Driving license
