  • Backend: Python with FastAPI, Django, and Celery, leveraging clean architecture principles to build robust, scalable APIs and efficiently manage asynchronous task processing.
  • Frontend: ReactJS, delivering a seamless and responsive user experience.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: AWS Cloud, providing the backbone for our highly available and scalable infrastructure.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Docker for containerized application management, ensuring consistent and reliable deployments.
  • Databases: PostgreSQL for relational data storage, Redis and MongoDB, designed for scalability and high performance.
  • API Design: OpenAPI standards for clear, maintainable, and scalable API development
  • CI/CD: GHA, continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines enabling fast, efficient deployments.
  • Testing: Unit tests, automated end-to-end (e2e) testing, quality gates to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Collaboration Tools: Agile workflows powered by Jira and Confluence to keep our teams aligned and efficient.


About the Role:

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be a key player in our tech team, driving the development of user interfaces that power fundcraft’s digital-native platform. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to translate business needs into robust, high-performance web applications. You will also collaborate on maintaining and optimising our AWS-based production infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and development of high-impact frontend components, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with technical goals.
  • Drive key technical decisions, particularly in areas of architecture, design patterns, and frontend best practices.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards and testing practices across the frontend team.
  • Conduct code reviews with a focus on quality, security, and maintainability.
  • Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on technical challenges, best practices, and career growth.
  • Share knowledge through regular workshops, documentation, and pair programming sessions.
  • Partner with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, and Backend Engineers to ensure project alignment and cohesive user experiences.
  • Actively participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
  • Take full ownership of specific features or components, from development through deployment and maintenance.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues within the frontend infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and methodologies, bringing innovative solutions to the team.
  • Lead initiatives for improving frontend tooling, workflows, and productivity.
Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Frontend Developer working with React and Redux.
  • Proficient in Javascript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiar with Figma, Git (Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket), JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Spanish.
