Strategy and Expansion Analyst

Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, and passionate Strategy & Expansion Analyst to join our growing and successful Expansion and Go-to-Market team (GTM). The Analyst for Expansion and Go-to-Market team will work closely with the GTM Director and the President for Business Development, also Founder of the company. Together they will evolve the Go-To-Market processes and tools to support expansion in our recently opened countries (Netherlands, Germany) and new openings.

Key Responsibilities

The Strategy & Expansion Analyst will be a core member of the Expansion and Go-to-Market team, responsible for:

Launching and supporting new country operations (having successfully opened business in 17 countries).

Evolving the Go-To-Market strategy and following-up on the implementation.

Defining Verisure’s new adjacent business opportunities (businesses different from our core alarm value proposition that are close to it so that we can leverage our strengths).

This role will require determination to deeply understand :

Our business model.

Our Go-to-Market (digital marketing, call center, field sales & salesmen recruitment, E2E KPIs, .

Our products and services.

Our processes in Operations (Alarm monitoring, Customer Care, Maintenances, to successfully serve our customers.

Among other tasks, this role will involve:

Supporting the definition of the Go-To-Market strategy, identifying risks and opportunities.

Supporting countries’ commercial teams in the implementation of specific processes and tools to improve P&Ls´ top line.

Analyzing operational & financial data to drive conclusions and prepare management reports for the proposal of improvements and decision making

Working with the rest of the Expansion and Go-to-Market team in other projects such as new country operation launch.

Location

The position will be based in Madrid (Spain) with Pan European travel expected (about 50%).

Reports and organizational structure

Directly reporting to Manager/Director of the area.

Candidate profile

Qualifications, Experiences, and Competencies

We are looking for experienced professionals with 1-2 years of experience in a top-tier consulting firm and/or industry, preferably in strategy, marketing, or sales .

High affinity towards data and technology with ability to dive deep and analyze opportunities and processes.

Strong business sense, understanding the business impact of KPIs.

Experienced in complex data analysis and advanced data modeling with Excel.

Entrepreneurial drive with strong hands-on approach and commitment, overcoming obstacles to achieve goals, with innovative and open mindset to new approaches.

Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills, being able to perform well in high-pressure environments, on own initiative and in an international/multicultural team.

Structured, detail oriented, and capable of understanding the big picture.

Strong written and oral communication capabilities, being able to communicate complex concepts in a simple way to audiences with different backgrounds.

Fluent in written and spoken English (other languages will be a plus: Spanish, German, Dutch).

University degree: Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar.

Additional complementary skills will be valued:

Basic knowledge of accounting and corporate finance.

Experience in retail sales (., banking, telco, insurance), with a focus in field sales (door to door).

Experience in data management and visuals creation (Power BI or similar software).

Basic-medium programming skills will also be valued (., SQL, DAX, R ).
