International Media Manager

Media Development Manager position within the Havas International Spain department in Barcelona. Havas International is responsible for the Spanish clients of the group that communicate at international level and other global clients. Current clients belong to various sectors such as: Fashion, Tourism, Banking, Food, Hospitality, Energy, Education...etc. The international team covers the entire scope of media planning and is composed of international media experts, data & research analysts, strategists, etc... consulting for and managing their clients, developing communication strategies, building media recommendation, negotiating media proposals, implementing advertising campaigns, producing in depth analysis on markets, consumers, brands or sector trends. The Media Development Manager is responsible for developing and deploying best practices for media experiences specifically for global clients. The role sits between Strategy and Activation and is the point where Strategy is translated into Media Experiences for global clients. The Role: Contributes to the overall management of the media plans in close alignment with external agencies, brand teams etc.. Manages media activation based on marketing plan/activity calendar including mobilising/coordinating digital hub channel specialists to deploy locally. Collaborates with the Media Planning and activation Lead to ensure the full end-to-end plan works on and offline with key customers. Key Accountabilities: Drive Best in class Holistic Media Planning and execution for the brand Support brand teams with guidance and expertise regarding the best media, digital and influencer strategies to achieve brand objectives. Lead, coordinate and deliver best in class holistic media plans (offline and online), you will ensure a consistent end-to-end consumer experience across all touchpoints in the markets. Implement key category initiatives/ goals into our media activations Track, learn & optimize based on key comms goals Acting as orchestrator amongst brand and agency partners Management of media agency delivery to support brand plans and brand strategy Dock into various cross functional disciplines (CRM/PRM, Technology/Uni-Ops, and CMI (Consumer and Market Insights). Land core cross functional capabilities and best practice locally Work together with the client to drive Media and digital media innovation – pioneering the future of media and data driven marketing through a continuous test, learn and scale approach. These could include connected TV, live streaming, social commerce etc. Working arrangement: Working location: Barcelona.
