Business Development Director, South-East Europe

The OpportunityJK Recruitment is supporting an international client operating in the insurance software space in hiring a Business Development Director for South East Europe.This role is for a hands on commercial leader who enjoys being close to clients owning deals end to end and actively building the region. You will be responsible for winning new business expanding existing accounts and personally driving revenue growth across South East Europe. The role reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue and New BusinessActively identify approach and engage insurance companies across South East Europe.Personally lead sales conversations from first contact through proposal negotiation and closing.Develop trusted relationships with decision makers including executives business leaders and IT stakeholders.Convert complex client requirements into clear commercial proposals together with internal teams.Market DevelopmentBuild the regional pipeline through direct outreach networking referrals and industry events.Develop a strong understanding of local insurance markets and customer needs.Identify opportunities for upselling and cross selling within existing client relationships.Represent the company in meetings conferences and events as a credible industry partner.Sales ExecutionOwn the full sales cycle and be accountable for results.Manage opportunities in the CRM system and keep pipeline data accurate and up to date.Prepare proposals business cases and presentations tailored to each client.Negotiate commercial and contractual terms directly with clients.Collaboration and FeedbackWork closely with marketing product and delivery teams on active opportunities.Bring clear customer feedback from the field to help shape product positioning and sales messaging.Share market insights competitor information and deal lessons learned with senior management.What We Are Looking ForExperienceThree to five plus years of experience selling software SaaS or enterprise technology.Direct experience selling to insurance companies or strong exposure to the insurance industry.Proven ability to close complex B2B deals and build long term customer relationships.Experience working with enterprise or mid market clients in South East Europe.Skills and MindsetStrong communication and negotiation skills with a practical client focused approach.Comfortable leading meetings and negotiations with senior stakeholders.Fluency in English and Spanish both written and spoken.Hands on experience using CRM systems such as Dynamics and sales enablement tools.Self driven proactive and comfortable working independently.Results focused resilient and motivated by building something from the ground up.If you are a hands on sales professional who enjoys owning the full sales cycle and building long term client relationships in the insurance sector we would be happy to connect and discuss this opportunity.JK Recruitment activities are based on Recruitment licenses No.3374 and No.3375 from 1.08.2022.
