Our engineering teams apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and microservices architecture to build scalable and maintainable systems.As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining MultiSafepay's data infrastructure. Your primary focus will be ensuring that high-quality, scalable, and well-structured data is available to various teams within the organization. You will play a crucial role in optimizing data processes, managing databases, and setting up efficient data pipelines for seamless data accessibility. What will you be doing?Maintaining, and optimising databases, data warehouses, and ElasticSearch indexesDesigning and implementing scalable data pipelines for collecting, transforming, and storing dataEnsure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standardsAutomating data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processesWorking closely with data analysts, ensuring they have well-structured and accurate data for reportingMonitoring database performance, resolving bottlenecks and inefficienciesWhat do you need?Proven experience in data engineering or related fieldsStrong knowledge of ElasticSearch and PostgreSQLPostgres DBA (including logical and binary replication)Managing Elasticsearch clustersKibana dashboardsData backup and recoveryData miningKnowledge in backend development in Java or Perl 5(troubleshooting, optimization, integration, automation)and Apache POI for handling structured data (optional but beneficial)Strong understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline architectureExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize data performanceProficiency in English, with strong communication skillsWhat you'll get from us:A competitive salary packageOpportunities for professional growthA diverse role within a dedicated international team of enthusiastic colleaguesOffice with an amazing view the beachHealth insuranceFree Spanish classes and afterwork sports activitiesWe are not accepting applications or referrals from recruitment agencies for this position. xsgfvud Any unsolicited resumes will not be considered.
