Solution Architect – Azure & Data PlatformsSpain (Hybrid) | Madrid or Barcelona – 1 day per week onsiteUp to €70,000 + packageI'm supporting a leading European Financial Services organisation as they continue to modernise their cloud and data platforms across Europe. This is a hands-on Solution Architect role, sitting close to engineering and delivery, not an ivory-tower architecture position.What you'll be doingDesigning Azure-first solutions across data and integration platforms (Databricks, Data Lake, Event Hub, Functions, APIs).Leading the transition from legacy services to cloud-native architectures.Acting as the bridge between architecture and engineering to ensure designs are practical, scalable, and deliverable.Owning solution design and technical governance across multiple product teams.What we're looking forStrong experience with Azure Cloud (Databricks or similar data platforms highly desirable).Background in data, microservices, or event-driven architectures.Solid understanding of .NET / .NET Core — you don't need to code daily, but you must be able to engage credibly with engineers.Fluent English required (German is a bonus, not a must).Why this role?You'll be working in a modern, international tech environment, influencing real-world delivery and large-scale platforms not just producing diagrams.If you're passionate about Azure, data platforms, and building things this could be for you.
