Medical Science Liaison – SpainRole: Full-time, permanentLocation: Barcelona, SpainThe Role:As a result of the continuous growth of our company and upcoming launches of new original products, we are now looking to hire our first Medical Science Liaison within Spain.We're seeking a driven and organised individual to act as a scientific and medical field-based expert to external and internal stakeholders and establish and foster professional collaborations with the healthcare community in the whole region and take active part in our new original product launches.This includes mainly but not only conducting fair and balanced scientific and medical exchanges with Thought Leader in the fields of Accord Healthcare domains of interest in Oncology and non-oncology areas, to explore mutual medical, clinical and scientific interests and to provide any necessary non-promotional relevant information and solutions to the health care professionals and patient association groups to properly use efficiently and safely Accord Healthcare's Products.Working with cross functional teams (such as Patient Access, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Information and Compliance), you'll develop Local Medical Plans, Publication and Projects Plans, set up any necessary medical ad boards and oversee any supported data generation projects on top of participating to local and regional congresses.This position offers you a great opportunity to be our fist Medical Affairs representative in the NB8 region to work cross-functionally within a growing international and regional team, be part of Accord Healthcare original product launches hence you'll be really given a chance to really make this role your own.The Person:Considerable amount of experience in the pharmaceutical sector in particular in medical affairs activitiesPrevious experience as a Medical Advisor, Medical Science Liaison or similarIdeally experience in the oncology, neurology or autoimmune therapeutic areas would be a strong advantageStrong analytical skills – the ability to understand, process, communicate and present scientific information to a high standard and in compliance with Pharma Code and regulations in forceStrong relationship management skills, with the gravitas to influence and maintain relationships at all levels and build effective internal and external networks with key stakeholders and influencersScientific Education to a post graduate degree levelFluent in Spanish with a good level of EnglishAbility to manage multiple projects and adapt priorities according to business and strategic needsThe Rewards:In return, we offer a competitive salary and rewards package.
