This key role will act as a Leader of our Delivery Team of Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) practice that support pharma clients in their customer engagement transformation including migration of CRM for the field force.ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Manager SFE, you will take responsibilities for the following areas: Delivery management, business development & sales, people management and community leadership.Delivery ManagementAs the Lead for our SFE practice, you will manage the SFE project portfolio, including:Manage project staffing by identifying and assigning the right team profiles.Support project teams throughout all phases of delivery.Act as an escalation point for project-related issues.Maintain accurate project forecasting in collaboration with Engagement Leads and Project Managers.Ensure budget governance and drive opportunities for business expansion.You will also contribute hands-on to selected projects as engagement or program lead.Business Development & SalesIn close partnership with our Sales and offering teams, you will support the entire sales cycle by providing delivery insights and expertise, including:Contribute to the creation of sales materials, concrete proposals and pitches.Prepare effort estimates and resource plans to ensure successful project delivery.Prepare price calculations and support the development of competitive, well-scoped offers.Drive community growth and manage client relationships, including individual sales contribution.People ManagementYou will serve as a People Manager, responsible for the continuous development and wellbeing of your direct reports, including:Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and guidance.Identify resource gaps and skills needed and drive recruitment process.Oversee administrative and HR-related tasks.Conduct regular performance reviews.Support career development and foster a high-performing, engaged team.Community LeadershipAs Community Lead for the Sales Force Effectiveness practice, you will shape and grow a strong community of SFE experts capable of delivering across the full BASE Life Science SFE offering. In this role, you will:Collaborate closely with our Portfolio team to operationalize "ready-to-work" approaches for all offerings.Work with SFE Delivery experts to establish standardized ways of working, templates, best practices, and upskilling programs.Drive scalability and maturity of the SFE portfolio through strong community enablement.Ideally, you will be based at out of Spain.What makes you the best fit for this role?We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced leader who has expertise across a broad spectrum of projects - including implementation, optimization, and ongoing consulting.You will work closely with cross-functional teams, helping clients translate business goals into scalable, system-supported solutions.On top of this, you have the following competencies and experiences:10+ years of experience ideally in project-based roles within consulting and the pharma/life sciences sector.Experience within the commercial field, especially CRM including a solid technical understanding of CRM solutions in life science especially for projects involving IT collaboration.Familiarity with Salesforce, Veeva, or other CRM systems is a must.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills in English.Ability to create compelling presentations and present in front of C-level audiences.Proactive mindset with a "can-do" attitude and eagerness to learn.Comfortable working in agile teams and remote environments.Following competencies would be a plus:Experience contributing to Salesforce Effectiveness initiatives, including CRM usage optimization, sales process alignment, and support for user adoption strategies.Interest in emerging technologies and AI.What makes us the best employer for you?BASE life science has been recognized as an outstanding workplace, earning us the Great Place To Work certification.We are proud to represent 35+ nationalities among our colleagues and firmly believe in the power of diverse perspectives and characteristics to drive truly innovative solutions and achieving excellence.At the heart of our organization lies a foundation grounded in five core values: team spirit, trust, openness, ambition, and execution.
