Madrid | Hybrid (On-site Mon–Thu, Remote Fridays)At VISTA Investments, we are looking for a Finance Director (Spain) to lead financial governance, performance and oversight of our Spanish platform, acting as a key partner to senior management and our US-based finance team.This is a senior finance leadership role within a growing international hospitality investment and development group. The position is strongly grounded in accounting, but oriented towards financial ownership, control, governance and decision support, rather than day-to-day accounting execution.The RoleAs Finance Director, you will be accountable for the financial integrity, reliability and usefulness of financial information, ensuring that accounting, reporting and controls support effective decision-making across the group.Working closely with the Accounting Manager and senior leadership, you will oversee a multi-entity structure across Spain and the US, providing financial leadership, structure and visibility in a complex, fast-growing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOverall ownership of financial governance, reporting quality and financial performance in SpainOversight of accounting, statutory reporting and compliance through the Accounting ManagerConsolidation, treasury, liquidity and cash-flow management across entities and SPVsDesign and monitoring of financial controls, policies and governance frameworksCoordination of audits, tax compliance and external advisorsBudgeting, forecasting and financial monitoring across projects and investmentsFinancial insight and decision support to senior managementClose collaboration with the US finance team to ensure consistency and alignmentLeadership and development of the Madrid-based finance function (direct and indirect)ProfileSenior finance professional with a strong accounting backgroundProven experience in multi-entity / group environmentsBackground in Big Four + industry highly valuedComfortable operating between detail and big pictureOwnership-driven, structured and hands-on in a leadership senseExperience working in international environmentsFull professional English requiredImportant to NoteThis is not:an FP&A-only rolea banking, investment or advisory positiona purely operational accounting roleThis role is ideal for a Finance Director / Head of Finance / CFO-track profile who enjoys deep involvement in accounting and financial integrity, combined with broader financial leadership and governance responsibility.Why VISTA InvestmentsSenior finance leadership role with real decision-making impactInternational exposure (Spain & US)Growing, stable hospitality investment platformEntrepreneurial, collaborative cultureCompetitive senior compensationHybrid model with remote FridaysInterested?If this role resonates with you — or someone in your network — we would love to connect.
