This is a senior finance leadership role within a growing international hospitality investment and development group. The position is strongly grounded in accounting, but oriented towards financial ownership, control, governance and decision support, rather than day-to-day accounting execution. The Role As Finance Director, you will be accountable for the financial integrity, reliability and usefulness of financial information, ensuring that accounting, reporting and controls support effective decision-making across the group. Working closely with the Accounting Manager and senior leadership, you will oversee a multi-entity structure across Spain and the US, providing financial leadership, structure and visibility in a complex, fast-growing environment. Key Responsibilities Overall ownership of financial governance, reporting quality and financial performance in Spain Oversight of accounting, statutory reporting and compliance through the Accounting Manager Consolidation, treasury, liquidity and cash-flow management across entities and SPVs Design and monitoring of financial controls, policies and governance frameworks Coordination of audits, tax compliance and external advisors Budgeting, forecasting and financial monitoring across projects and investments Financial insight and decision support to senior management Close collaboration with the US finance team to ensure consistency and alignment Leadership and development of the Madrid-based finance function (direct and indirect)Profile Senior finance professional with a strong accounting background Proven experience in multi-entity / group environments Background in Big Four + industry highly valued Comfortable operating between detail and big picture Ownership-driven, structured and hands-on in a leadership sense Experience working in international environments Full professional English required Important to Note This is not : an FP&A-only role a banking, investment or advisory position a purely operational accounting role This role is ideal for a Finance Director / Head of Finance / CFO-track profile who enjoys deep involvement in accounting and financial integrity, combined with broader financial leadership and governance responsibility.
