We are looking for a Senior Wind Operations Engineer to join a leading renewable energy generation multinational group. The ideal candidate is someone passionate about the renewable energy sector and is looking for a new professional growth Functions & Responsibilities: Oversee the operations and maintenance (O&M) of wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and safety. Propose troubleshooting solutions for minor corrective actions and common defects in large components. Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for the mechanical and electrical systems of wind turbines. Analyze the performance of wind turbines, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing energy production. Lead and coordinate technical teams for O&M activities, ensuring effective execution of tasks. Manage inventories and resources, ensuring timely procurement of spare parts and materials to minimize downtime. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have: A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field; any other relevant experience will also be considered. At least 3-5 years of experience working with electrical infrastructure, specifically in wind farms and substations. Fluent in Spanish (working proficiency required), and English (intermediate to advanced level for technical communication). Bonus points if you have: Technical Certification/Safety Training in BST/GWO to work in wind farms. +7 years of experience will be a plus Knowledge on wind farms simulation software such as Openwind, WindFarmer, QBlade or equivalent Why Join Us?
