, we are transforming the way we underwrite risk through the power of data and artificial intelligence. We are looking for an AI Analyst to join our dynamic multinational team, where you will play a key role in embedding Cytora's AI platform into our underwriting and portfolio management processes.

This role sits at the intersection of data science, underwriting, and digital transformation — enabling Zurich to deliver faster and more consistent risk decisions. You'll work closely with underwriting teams, data engineers, Cytora and technology partners to drive value from AI insights and support the shaping of the next generation of digital underwriting.

As an
AI Analyst Commercial Insurance (Cytora Platform)
you will be part of a new team that will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our deployment of Cytora's AI platform, an AI-powered digital risk processing solution that helps insurers transform unstructured data into decision-ready insights.

You will bridge the gap between business knowledge and AI capability. You're part of a team that will collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Commercial Insurance business operation to deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance our operational effectiveness and drive innovation. Your work will directly contribute to our strategic goals, making your role critical to our success.

As an AI Business Analyst - Commercial Insurance you will have the opportunity to:

AI & Platform Enablement

• Configure and maintain Zurich's deployment of the Cytora platform, ensuring seamless data ingestion and model performance across lines of business.
• Partner with Cytora, IT, and data engineering teams to integrate risk insights into core Zurich systems and workflows.
• Support the calibration of AI models to align with Zurich's underwriting appetite and risk framework.

Requirements Analysis

• Collaborate with business teams to translate their needs into clear data specifications
• Work closely with international stakeholders to adapt Cytora configurations, prompts and data schemas for country-specific requirements
• Support new implementation projects using the Cytora platform
• Maintain and extend data schemas to ensure they capture all relevant data required by business teams

Model & Data Performance

• Monitor and evaluate the accuracy and business impact of Cytora's AI models.
• Work with data teams to improve data quality, enrichment processes, and feature engineering for AI models.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring our AI use aligns with Zurich's principles of Responsible AI.

Collaboration & Change Enablement

• Act as a bridge between underwriting, data, and IT to ensure consistent understanding of AI outputs and use cases.
• Provide training and guidance to underwriters and analysts on using Cytora's AI capabilities effectively.
• Support Zurich's AI adoption strategy and contribute to global best practices in digital underwriting.

Skills and experience which are essential for this role:

• Bachelor's degree in related disciplines to Insurance, Financial Services, Business Analytics
• 3+ years of working experience in a Business Analyst, Insurance Operations or Data Analyst role
• Passion about AI enablement with hands-on exploratory experience with LLMs or AI driven platforms (like Cytora) in personal or work projects
• Proven structured business, data analysis and problem-solving skills paired with a business acumen
• Hands-on, open-minded and solution oriented, willing to test, learn, and iterate quickly
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, along with at least one or more other languages

Desirable Skills And Experiences May Include

• Familiarity with Commercial Insurance products and underwriting processes
• Experience in data integration, API workflows, or data engineering concepts
• Experience in process automation or digital submission triage initiatives
