Sales Intern (SDR/BDR)

Iventions is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Trainee Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support our senior sales team with lead generation, outreach, and CRM management. This position is key in building a pipeline of qualified leads and ensuring seamless data management to drive successful sales operations. The Junior Trainee Sales Coordinator will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to identify business opportunities and contribute to the overall success of the sales department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior sales staff in lead generation through email, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels.
  • Manage and maintain CRM systems (e.g., ZOHO), ensuring accurate data entry, cleaning, and reporting.
  • Utilise tools like Genesy, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify potential clients and book meetings for senior staff.
  • Conduct basic market research to identify target companies and high-potential contacts.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers to add to our network, based on portfolio quality assessments.
  • Provide senior sales staff with prospecting lists for in-person trade show visits based on their attendance and current lead status.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to support cross-departmental goals and objectives.
  • Ensure seamless communication with clients, following up on outreach efforts and providing support where needed.
  • Monitor sales pipeline and provide regular reports on lead generation progress.
  • Organise and manage sales data, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support various sales initiatives and campaigns.
  • Visit trade shows and target new, potential companies who we can design and build for, therefore travel will be required, but less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience:

  • Currently studying in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with sales and CRM software , LinkedIn Sales Navigator, , or similar platforms).
  • Knowledge of the events or exhibits industry is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required (C2 level or native); additional languages are an advantage.

  • CRM Management: Expert in managing customer data and ensuring the smooth flow of sales operations.
  • Sales Outreach: Skills in creating effective email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and nurturing client relationships.

Personal Skills:

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, from basic outreach to advanced stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with the sales and project management teams to achieve common goals.
  • Problem Solving: Creative in finding solutions to challenges in the sales process.

Working Conditions:

The job requires 3-4 days of presence in our offices in Barcelona.

Flexible work-from-home policy after the initial period.

The role is office-based with occasional travel.

Initial period will be a 6 month internship and assessed thereafter
