ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

TKWW is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team of data professionals supporting the Couple Growth & Lifecycle Product Zone. This role will focus on driving user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization strategies through data-driven insights and advanced analytics. The Sr Data Scientist will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to design growth experiments, optimize lifecycle journeys, and deliver measurable impact on key metrics across the customer experience. This person will also mentor and guide other data professionals, elevating analytical rigor across the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze and interpret user behavior, lifecycle trends, and engagement data to identify growth opportunities and inform product strategy.
• Apply advanced statistical and machine learning methods (e.g., causal inference, churn prediction, LTV modeling, segmentation, classification, forecasting) to drive growth and lifecycle decisions.
• Design, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests that optimize acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization outcomes.
• Build predictive and prescriptive models to forecast user behavior and guide prioritization of initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define growth hypotheses and translate business questions into analytical approaches.
• Develop self-serve analytics tools, dashboards, and data products to empower partners and enhance data-driven decision-making.
• Partner with engineers to ensure robust, scalable tracking and measurement frameworks for growth and lifecycle initiatives.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of experimentation and data excellence.

SUCCESSFUL SENIOR DATA SCIENCE CANDIDATES HAVE:

• Excellent communication skills; able to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of statistics, including hypothesis testing, regression, causal inference, and forecasting.
• Hands-on experience with experiment design, analysis, and rollout of A/B and multivariate tests.
• Ability to design, build, and maintain reusable, scalable data products for multiple internal teams.
• Strong internal customer focus, collaborating with Product, Marketing, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to turn data into clear, actionable decisions and recommendations.
• Advanced SQL skills and ability to write efficient, production-ready queries.
• Strong Python or R skills for data manipulation, visualization, and advanced analysis.
• Knowledge of data modeling and experience partnering with engineers on data infrastructure.
• Experience influencing stakeholders and driving alignment through data-driven insights.
• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics, with some prior leadership, mentorship, or project ownership experience.
• Fluent in English.

WORK MODEL: 

This role is -eligible and based near one of our office hubs. Starting September 15, 2025, you'll be expected to work in the office two days a week as part of our hybrid work model.
