In this role, you will drive the discovery, prioritisation, and delivery of AI use cases across the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) by acting as the connection point between platform teams and internal developer users. This hybrid role combines product ownership responsibilities with hands-on engineering contributions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess AI/ML application opportunities across engineering platforms (e.g., CD, observability, developer experience)
• Act as a primary point of contact for internal customers and platform teams regarding applied AI topics
• Translate identified opportunities into actionable backlog items and prioritise delivery
• Implement proof-of-concept solutions and help scale successful cases in collaboration with platform teams
• Track progress, report impact and risks to senior stakeholders
• Monitor emerging trends in AI relevant to software delivery and developer experience
• Measure and calculate the productivity benefits and ROI of AI tools using relevant KPIs
• Ensure successful adoption of AI-powered tools through training, guidance, and support for engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or applied AI roles
• At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, vector databases)
• Experience in stakeholder management, backlog refinement and product delivery
• Strong understanding of SDLC and DevOps practices
• Solid programming background (Java, .NET, TypeScript preferred)
• Excellent documentation skills
• Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
