As Manager of the Strategic Projects Department, you will play a pivotal role in driving MediaMarkt Spain's transformation and long-term growth. You will design, evaluate, and execute high-impact strategic initiatives, directly supporting General Management and ensuring alignment with the company's vision. By coordinating with cross-functional teams, you will identify opportunities for improvement, implement change, and deliver projects that reinforce customer centricity and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and monitor strategic initiatives in close collaboration with General Management and business unit leaders.
• Conduct industry analysis and benchmark best practices to position MediaMarkt at the forefront of retail innovation.
• Detect improvement opportunities and develop action plans to optimize efficiency, costs, and customer experience.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across areas such as Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance, IT, and HR.
• Lead the implementation and follow-up of x-functional projects, ensuring delivery within deadlines, budget, and quality standards.
• Prepare and present reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Support leadership in strategic or high-stakes/high-visibility discussions, presentations and actions

Professional Knowledge & Skills

• Deep understanding of retail business models and operations in multinational environments.
• Engineering and/or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related fields.
• Additional certifications in Project Management (PMP, MPM, Agile, or equivalent) are highly valued.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and PMIS tools.
• Fluent English (C2) – both written and spoken; other European languages are a plus.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Project Manager, PMO, or in Management Consulting, ideally within Retail.
• Experience in complex stakeholder management - providing direct support to General Management
• Demonstrated success in delivering cross-functional, high-impact strategic initiatives.
• Proven track record of delivering transformation projects in areas such as sales, marketplace (online/offline channels), finance, and/or operations
