Job description:

As an Operations & Automation Intern, you will join our Service Operations team, who are
responsible for improving how the organization works as a whole, solving cross-team operational gaps, clarifying and optimizing processes, aligning systems and data, and implementing automation where it drives meaningful efficiency, visibility, and scalability. You will play an important role in supporting process improvements and building practical automation solutions, helping ensure smooth, reliable operations across departments.

Your responsibilities:

• Build and improve automations using tools like n8n, Zapier, and HubSpot to increase operational efficiency.
• Participate in discovery sessions to understand departmental processes, bottlenecks, and pain points, helping design effective solutions.
• Document workflows, processes, and system changes clearly in Notion.
• Track automation outcomes, validate workflows, and assist in troubleshooting issues.
• Clean, transform, and analyse data in Google Sheets, Looker Studio, or Power BI to update dashboards and provide process insights.
• Use AI tools proactively to accelerate documentation, debug issues, create workflow drafts, assess data, and propose improvements.

Candidate profile and skills

Required:

• Curious and proactive student or recent graduate in Business, Engineering, Data, Operations, or Computer Science, or anyone with a strong interest in automation, AI, and systems thinking.
• Professional proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Inquisitive mindset with ability to break down problems and spot patterns.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Thrives in ambiguous, cross-departmental projects and takes full ownership of work.
• Experience using AI tools in a practical way to research, debug, and accelerate work.

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of Google Sheets formulas, SQL, or data cleaning is a plus.
• Experience with no-code/low-code automation platforms (n8n, Zapier) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot is a strong plus).
• Exposure to APIs or scripting in JavaScript/Python is a plus.
