Role Overview:
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of CDMO services in advanced therapies at Histocell, expanding the company's client base, and promoting contract development and manufacturing services to pharmaceutical and biotech companies at both national and international level.
She/He will build relationships with pharma and biotech companies seeking advanced therapies development and manufacturing services, execute the commercial strategy to grow market, represent the company at key global conferences, collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions, and negotiate service and collaboration contracts in alignment with company strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities for our CDMO services in advanced therapies, targeting pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers at existing and prospective clients, acting as a trusted advisor on contract development and manufacturing solutions.
- Attend trade fairs, conferences, and face-to-face client meetings, actively promoting the company's CDMO service portfolio.
- Develop technical and commercial offers, including scope definitions, pricing models, risk evaluation, and resource planning.
- Draft, negotiate, and finalise service contracts and partnership agreements in collaboration with the legal and technical departments, ensuring favourable commercial terms while maintaining compliance with QA/QC/RA.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (R&D, Operations, Quality) to translate customer needs into technically feasible solutions.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, regulatory requirements and technological advances in the advanced therapies CDMO space to inform strategic planning.
- Actively contribute to the achievement of the company's sales objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, pharmacy or a related discipline.
- Proven track record (minimum of 3 years) in commercial or sales services, or business development within the CDMO sector in advanced therapies. Experience in advanced therapies CDMO services is strongly preferred; alternatively, experience in business development, consulting, or sales of services for the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.
(Knowledge of advanced therapies, contract manufacturing processes, regulatory requirements and GMP manufacturing is highly regarded)

Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Spanish; ability to produce high-quality technical-commercial documentation and commercial proposals.
- Strong commercial insight, negotiation capabilities, and results-driven approach: ability to develop and execute commercial offers, business plans, negotiate effectively, and manage contracts.
- Self-motivated and goal-driven, with a capability to work independently yet collaboratively.
- Proficiency in standard business tools (MS Office 365) and ability to manage sales pipelines and forecasts.
- Willingness to travel regularly (domestic and international), to attend conferences, customer meetings, and trade shows.
