Neuraxpharm is looking for a Data & Business Intelligence Architect based in Barcelona

(hybrid role)

Your mission:

Define and maintain the corporate data architecture and governance, ensuring data quality, security, and availability. Lead the standardization of the reporting model, integrating multiple data sources and Business Intelligence (BI) tools. Establishing order in data is the essential foundation for enabling Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics projects within the company.

Your major accountabilities:

• Design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, Master Data Management – MDM).
• Establish data governance policies and standards (quality, lineage, security, compliance and cataloging).
• Design processes for integrating multiple data sources and ensuring traceability.
• Standardize the reporting model and select Business Intelligence tools.
• Design corporate and local dashboards and reports, ensuring consistency in KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and definitions across countries.
• Develop and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) pipelines, including streaming and batch data flows.
• Automate data processes.
• Ensure that data architecture and governance enable future Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics projects.
• Collaborate with business areas and international teams to understand analytical needs, train teams in the use of BI tools, and adapt corporate reporting to local requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and the adoption of new technologies in the data and BI domain.
• Oversee the correct application of data protection and compliance policies in all reporting and analytics processes.
• Drive the standardization and automation of reporting processes across all business units.

We would like you to have:

• 5+ years in data architecture, BI, and data governance.
• Experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT, SQL, NoSQL.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools.
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on Azure Cloud Platform and/or Databricks.
• Experience with MLOps platforms (MLflow, CI/CD).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python.
