A leading-edge photonics company in
Valencia
is seeking an experienced
Senior Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) Validation Engineer
to join its growing R&D and product development team.

The successful candidate will bring solid
industry experience
in the
testing, validation, and characterisation
of photonic integrated circuits, working across the full product life cycle—from prototype evaluation to qualification for production.

You will play a key role in developing robust validation methodologies, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability of next-generation photonic devices and subsystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execution of PIC validation and characterisation plans
  • Development of automated test setups and data analysis tools
  • Close collaboration with design, packaging, and process teams to optimise performance
  • Reporting results and driving continuous improvement across validation processes

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven industry experience in PIC validation, testing, or characterisation
  • Strong understanding of photonic device physics and optical measurement techniques
  • Experience with automated test systems and data analysis (Python, LabVIEW, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
