Job Description
3D Artist Intern
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Intern 3D Artist with an understanding of graphic design principles. This role focuses on creating high-quality 3D assets and product visuals while ensuring visual consistency across digital and marketing materials. The ideal candidate combines technical 3D expertise with a strong eye for layout, color, and branding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and renders for products, marketing, and digital media
  • Develop photorealistic product visuals using PBR materials and studio-style lighting
  • Interpret technical drawings, datasheets, and design references to produce accurate 3D assets
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and design teams to ensure visual and brand consistency
  • Apply graphic design principles (composition, typography, color theory, layout) to 3D renders and supporting visuals
  • Prepare 3d assets for multiple outputs, including web, print, presentations, and motion graphics
  • Maintain organized files and follow established production pipelines and naming conventions

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a 3D Artist or similar role
  • Reference Portfolio
  • Proficiency in one or more 3D software packages (Blender, Maya, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of PBR workflows, materials, and lighting
  • Ability to work from technical drawings and product specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in product visualization or industrial/product design
  • Knowledge of rendering engines (Cycles, V-Ray, Marmoset)
  • Understanding of branding and marketing guidelines

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Openness to feedback and iterative design processes
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

  • Graphic Design Experience (Optional)
  • Experience with visual/graphic design (Optional)
  • Knowledge of asset optimization for web and real-time applications (Optional)
  • Basic motion graphics or animation experience (Optional)
  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, or similar (Optional)
  • Solid knowledge of composition, color correction, and visual storytelling (Optional)
