has been operating within a strong inter­national network of laboratory doctors and specialists since 2010. Approximately 24,000 employees in 22 countries dedicate their efforts in laboratory diagnostics to human medicine.

The
HR Business Partner
is responsible for both the operational and strategic HR agenda of the Spanish entity (approx. 55 employees at this point). This role ensures compliant and efficient HR processes, while adhering to the administration tasks, supports employees across all levels, and acts as a key partner to the Group HR department. The role also includes support for our casual employees in the Philippines.

Responsibilities:

The role combines
administrative, operational, and strategic HR responsibilities
to support employees and managers while ensuring compliance with Spanish labor law and company policies.

  • HR Administration & Compliance
    : Manage employment contracts, amendments, and documentation in accordance with Spanish labor law. Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files and HR data through HRIS. Ensure compliance with labor regulations, data protection requirements, and coordinate with external labor advisors and payroll providers. Administer the occupational health & safety platform (
    Prevención de Riesgos Laborales
    ), including mandatory medical exams, training, and risk assessments.
  • Payroll & Time Management
    : Prepare and validate monthly payroll in collaboration with the external payroll provider. Manage absences, vacations, sick leave, parental leave, and other statutory permissions.
  • Onboarding, Offboarding & Employee Support
    : Coordinate onboarding to ensure smooth integration and facilitate structured offboarding and exit interviews. Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related employee queries in Spain. Organize team events, company gatherings, and social activities to foster engagement and a positive work environment.
  • Compensation, Benefits & Pay Transparency
    : Support salary benchmarking and advise on compensation adjustments to ensure market competitiveness. Implement and maintain compliance with the
    EU Pay Transparency Directive
    in Spain, including salary structures, reporting, and communication requirements.
  • HR Business Partnering & Organizational Support
    : Act as a strategic partner to managers, supporting change management initiatives, organizational development projects, and cultural initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, ideally in a combined Generalist and HRBP capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law and HR practices.
  • Experience working with external gestorías or labor advisors.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, structure priorities, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • High level of discretion and integrity.
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural environment and collaborating across countries.

Languages:

  • Spanish: Native or fluent
