Desde S&You, consultora especializada en la selección de mandos intermedios y directivos, estamos buscando un/a
Category Lead
para una compañía con más de un siglo de trayectoria, actualmente inmersa en una
profunda transformación organizativa
.

Se trata de una empresa consolidada en plena modernización, con nuevos liderazgos, nuevos procesos, una forma de trabajo más abierta y una clara apuesta por profesionalizar su operativa y estrategia. Es un
proyecto estratégico, relevante y altamente visible
.

¿Qué hace exactamente un/a Category Lead en este proyecto?

No buscamos a alguien para "hacer compras", sino a alguien capaz de
definir, liderar y evolucionar
una categoría con autonomía total, impacto real y vinculación directa con Dirección.

Tu trabajo será estratégico en un 80%: analizar mercados, detectar oportunidades, liderar negociaciones relevantes y construir relaciones con proveedores clave. También tendrás un 20% de componente operativo vinculado a procesos, documentación y coordinación puntual con otras áreas.

En el día a día, tendrás la misión de:

  • Diseñar la estrategia de tu categoría alineada con los objetivos globales.
  • Analizar mercados, precios, tendencias y oportunidades de mejora.
  • Buscar, evaluar y homologar nuevos proveedores nacionales e internacionales.
  • Negociar acuerdos, contratos, condiciones y servicios con plena autonomía.
  • Impulsar iniciativas de ahorro sostenible y optimización del coste total (TCO).
  • Colaborar de forma constante con áreas como Operaciones, Finanzas, Calidad, Logística, IT o Legal.
  • Gestionar incidencias, desviaciones y cumplimiento de contratos.
  • Elaborar reportes de KPIs, riesgos, ahorros y desempeño para Dirección de Compras.

Perfil que buscamos

  • Grado universitario
    en Administración y Dirección de Empresas, Economía, Ingeniería, Supply Chain Management, Comercio Internacional o similar.
  • Valorable máster
    o postgrado en Compras, Supply Chain, Procurement Management o Gestión de Categorías
  • Entre
    3–5 años de experiencia en compras
    , procurement o supply chain.
  • Experiencia directa gestionando categorías, negociando acuerdos estratégicos o liderando licitaciones.
  • Background en entornos multinacionales o matriciales (muy valorable).
  • Imprescindible
    nivel alto de inglés
    (comunicación con proveedores internacionales).
  • Dominio de Excel; experiencia con ERP (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
  • Muy valorable haber vivido implantaciones de ERP.
