Are you interested in capital markets and how they can drive a more sustainable economy?
BME is opening a Sustainable Finance Internship focused on market analysis, strategic initiatives, practical implementation across the organization and relevant regulatory developments.
The role offers direct exposure to how sustainability is integrated into the financial infrastructure and into the company's own processes, in a dynamic environment interacting with multiple stakeholders across the industry.

What You Will Do

  • Support the implementation of BME's ESG and sustainable finance strategy, coordinating initiatives across departments
  • Conduct research and analysis on emerging trends, regulations, and market developments to identify opportunities for innovation and new business lines
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in organizing sustainability-related events, workshops, and engagement activities
  • Support the collection and reporting of ESG data and KPIs, ensuring consistency and quality across different business units
  • Collaborate with Group Sustainability and Innovation teams to monitor progress and ensure alignment with SIX's strategic measures

What You Bring

  • You are studying Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Background or coursework in sustainable finance or ESG investing is a plus, along with a genuine interest in how finance supports the transition to a low-carbon and inclusive economy
  • Proactive and curious mindset, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Adaptable, reliable, and eager to learn, with a positive attitude and sense of ownership
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written
  • Good level of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with research or data tools is an advantage
