Oracle CQP architect & senior dev

Location: Spain (Barcelona)

It's a 1 year contract, followed by extension, full time Cvs is also fine.

1 - Oracle CPQ Architect & Oracle CPQ Senior Developer

Oracle CPQ Architect :

  • Should be able to define and design the overall CPQ architecture, including data models, rules engine, pricing methodologies, and workflow automations.
  • Should have experience with creating scalable and maintainable product configuration models, pricing engines, and quote workflows.
  • Should be able to provide architectural direction for custom development, integration, and extension of CPQ platforms.
  • Lead CPQ implementations, enhancements, and large-scale transformation projects.
  • Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution designs.
  • Oversee the technical quality of CPQ configurations and customizations built by developers.
  • Architect and guide integration solutions between CPQ and CRM, ERP, Billing, eCommerce, Inventory, and Contract Management systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy across end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (QTC) processes.
  • Establish and enforce CPQ development standards, coding practices, and documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for optimization, scalability, and performance.
  • Evaluate new CPQ features, releases, and technologies.
  • Work closely with Sales Operations, Product Management, Finance, and IT teams to capture requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on CPQ architecture and QTC best practices.
  • Support internal teams with training, knowledge transfer, and documentation.
  • 10+ years of experience working with Oracle CPQ systems; at least 4+ years in an Architect or Lead role.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (QTC) processes.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of JavaScript and REST/SOAP APIs, Data modeling and orchestration
  • Proven experience designing complex product configuration rules, pricing logic, discount strategies, and approval workflows

Oracle CPQ Senior Developer

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Strong experience 6 - 8 years in Oracle CPQ development in all modules with minimum 2 end-to-end implementations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CPQ platforms (Salesforce CPQ, Apttus, Oracle CPQ, etc.).
  • Experience in end-to-end technical design, development, and implementation of Oracle CPQ solutions, ensuring compliance with architectural standards and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrate hands-on technical experience in implementation of various CPQ modules such as Configuration, Pricing, Commerce Process & integrations.
  • Customize and configure Oracle CPQ to support business requirements including product configurations, pricing logic, and approval workflows.
  • Build and maintain seamless integrations between Oracle CPQ and enterprise systems such as Salesforce (CRM), Oracle EBS (ERP), and other essential applications.
  • Design and deliver robust CPQ solutions leveraging BML (BigMachines Extensible Language), BMQL, XSL Transformation, JavaScript, and related technologies.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Oracle CPQ technical issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Ability to write and maintain technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Oracle CPQ certifications would be a plus point.
