As an AI Engineer, you will focus on engineering excellence, ensuring AI models are efficiently developed, deployed, monitored, and maintained. You will collaborate closely with AI Scientists, Data Engineers, and MLOps specialists to transform advanced research into reliable production-ready systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable AI systems, ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance in production.
• Collaborate closely with AI Scientists to translate AI models into production-grade applications.
• Deploy and maintain ML/DL models and pipelines on cloud-based infrastructures, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Develop and enhance tools for automated model training, validation, monitoring, and retraining.
• Integrate AI solutions with existing systems, managing API design, microservices architecture, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Implement best practices around MLOps, data versioning, experiment tracking, reproducibility, and CI/CD workflows.
• Work closely with Product Owners and Business Stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in AI engineering, cloud services, and infrastructure to continuously enhance the team´s capabilities.
Requirements
Must-Have
• MSc or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical fields.
• Strong experience deploying AI/ML models into production, including containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar, with deep knowledge of AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face).
• Hands-on experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), automation tools, and model lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, microservices, API design, and system architecture.
Nice-to-Have
• Experience with Generative AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs) and diffusion models.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with financial services, banking technologies, or other regulated environments.
• Contributions to open-source AI engineering projects or active participation in the global AI engineering community.
