accelerates IT product innovation, driving digital transformation through
agile, human-centered, and data-informed design.

As a
Senior Innovation Designer
, you will shape how SGS imagines, designs, and delivers next-generation digital solutions. You will manage the full idea-to-execution lifecycle - from opportunity identification and concept development to design, prototyping, testing, and evaluation. Acting as a strategic partner, you will transform complex challenges into user-centered, feasible, and value-driven solutions. Combining creativity with analytical rigor, you'll help prioritize high-potential initiatives and accelerate innovation outcomes.

Working with agile teams, UX/UI designers, product owners, data experts, and technical leads, you will guide the creation of intuitive interfaces, scalable design systems, and impactful digital products that are brand-aligned, user-friendly, and measurable.

Responsiblities

Innovation & Design

  • Drive end-to-end idea lifecycle: from opportunity identification to execution and impact tracking.
  • Conduct research and analysis (quantitative and qualitative) to validate and refine concepts.

Human-Centered & Strategic Design

  • Translate business needs into user-centric solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Apply Design Thinking and systems thinking; create design artifacts (blueprints, maps, storyboards).

Prototyping & Validation

  • Build and test prototypes to validate assumptions and measure user value.
  • Lead user research cycles and support agile teams during design phases.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Use data insights to guide prioritization and solution design; define KPIs and track performance.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Provide creative leadership, mentor designers, and promote design excellence.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure feasibility and scalability; contribute to design systems.
  • Represent the organization at events and foster talent development through schools and networks.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in
    end-to-end service, product, or innovation design
    , preferably including agency or consultancy experience.
  • Degree in Service Design, Strategic Design, UX, Product Design, or comparable professional background.
  • Proven ability to navigate
    ambiguity
    , make informed decisions, and communicate complex ideas in simple, actionable language.
  • Strong expertise in
    Design Thinking
    , human-centered design, and lean/agile environments.
  • High proficiency with design and collaboration tools:
    Figma, Miro, Adobe CC
    , prototyping tools, research frameworks.
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
