What Can You Expect?

As a Outsystems ODC Consultant Developer you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop web and mobile applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Collaborate with business analysts to understand and implement requirements.
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in solution design and follow defined architecture standards.
• Write clean, maintainable code adhering to best practices.
• Perform unit testing and support system/integration testing.
• Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Integrate applications with external APIs and databases.
• Stay updated on OutSystems features and continuously improve skills.

What Makes You a great Fit?

While we're not seeking perfection or expecting you to save the world, we believe that if you meet some of these requirements, you'll be a fantastic fit for our team. We are waiting for you

• Education in Computer Engineering or equivalent;
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in analyzing functional and technical specifications, and implementing Information Systems;
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience on the Outsystems platform and in-depth knowledge of the platform;
• Knowledge in Outsystems Developer Cloud (ODC);
• Knowledge of best practices in software development, including design patterns and software architecture and development of Responsive Design solutions;
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, AJAX development techniques;
• Proficient knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery or any other JavaScript Library;
• Autonomous programmer in MS .Net, more specifically in C#;
• Experience in XML, XSLT, XSD, and XQuery;
• Good knowledge of TSQL (Microsoft SQL Server);
• Commitment to code quality and experience in testing practices.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the insurance market;
• DB2 Knowledge;
• Outsystems "Professional Developer" certification;
• Experience or knowledge in the development of native applications for iOS and/or Android;
• We value any other knowledge or additional experience in the area of information technologies;
• Fluent knowledge of the English language and Portuguese (nice-to-have).
