In Spain and France, the company operates the leading marketplace for health and personal care products in Southern Europe. With an innovative business model, our marketplace does not manage stock or warehouses, it integrates the catalog of products, pricing, and stock levels of the most important and trusted off-line pharmacies in a single website, achieving 24h delivery service for more than products and brands from more than 1.000 pharmacies and health stores. Our business model and service have received several awards like the prize for Best Webshop in Spain as well as the Best Mobile App from the E-Commerce Awards.
We're looking for a PHP Backend Developer with solid experience and a passion for clean code, scalable systems, and modern development practices. You'll join a collaborative, agile team working on high-impact projects, with plenty of room to grow and learn from senior engineers.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain backend services using PHP and modern frameworks (Symfony, Zend, etc.)
- Apply OOP and SOLID principles to build clean, maintainable code
- Contribute to a strong testing culture and ensure code quality
- Work with microservices and message brokers (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Take ownership of your work while receiving support and guidance from the team
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
- 4+ years of experience with PHP and backend frameworks
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Good communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Proactive mindset and ability to work independently within a team
- Interest or experience in Domain-Driven Design, Hexagonal Architecture, CQRS
- Typescript
