Jumeirah Mallorca is located on a cliff and surrounded by pine forests looking over the fishing town of Port Soller. About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Manager - In Room Dining position to join our F&B Department in Jumeirah Mallorca. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
 

  • Ensure workplace safety by identifying hazards, instructing colleagues on safe practices, and maintaining proper equipment handling and storage standards.

  • Anticipate and meet guest needs, maintain rapport, handle complaints and compliments professionally, and personalize service by recording guest preferences.

  • Master and adhere to food, beverage, and service standards, ensure smooth restaurant operations, and actively participate in service monitoring.

  • Schedule and train colleagues, coordinate resources for special events, and ensure effective communication regarding operational changes.

  • Monitor and control costs, adhere to budgets, and communicate adjustments to the Chef and F&B Director.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a similar establishment and basic food and hygiene training 

  • Excellent level of English, Spanish is preferred. 
  • Friendly, approachable and professional personality attributes
  • Excellent supervisory, leadership and customer care skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and preferred knowledge of the Opera System
