Jumeirah Mallorca is located on a cliff and surrounded by pine forests looking over the fishing town of Port Soller. About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for an Intern position to join our Culinary Department in Jumeirah Mallorca. 

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • To prepare food items as assigned and in accordance with recipes and complying with Company and Hotel policies, procedures and standards to meet customers' satisfaction.
  • To set up the mise en place stations for the various meal periods according to performance standards.
  • To prepare food items according to the standard recipes.
  • To minimize waste of all food items.
  • To collect food requisitions from the store/ delivery areas as directed.
  • To breakdown mise en place stations at the end of the meal periods and store the food away properly.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Culinary related studies 

Experience

  • Previous culinary practices

Skills 

  • Friendly, approachable and professional
  • Works well under pressure 
  • Demonstrates flexibility in working according to the needs of the business
  • Excellent customer care skills
