About the Job
As Head of Regional & Commercial Finance you will be leading the financial operations and strategy for the relevant regions within Allianz Technology. This role involves managing a team of 4-5 regional finance managers and the respective local head of finance managers for high-revenue countries, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the organization's objectives.
In addition, the regional finance managers are responsible for all functional areas within the CFO pillar for the respective regions. The role is observing all customer related financial topics of all regions & countries.
What you do
Provide leadership, direction and management of the regional finance managers and their teams/second line functions; foster transparency and ensure proper baselining and initiative tracking per region leveraging finance teams. Ensure savings tracking of relevant projects & incoming transfers from other entities; Ensure global management and control of revenues, costs as well as price & volume effects in a transparent way.Validate global project portfolio & initiative business cases together with local and central senior management stakeholders. Steer demand alignment (volume) on multiyear perspective together with Account Management and Service Owners, create related customer friendly overviews.Play a vital role in dispute & commercial management (cash collection process) and foster credit note handling with Allianz Group CFOs. Foster process and tool implementation in close alignment with the different programs.Initiate best practice sharing based on customer OEs from between the regions.What you bring
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA/CFA preferred).Extensive experience in financial management, with a track record of success in a senior leadership role with extensive experience in related positions in the IT Industry preferred.Expertise in managing IT budgets (€500m - €1bn), with experience driving cost savings and ensuring financial transparency.Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g. SAP) with strong analytical, strategic planning and problem-solving skills.Strong ability to collaborate with senior management and clients of AZ Technology and align demand management across multi-year plans.Experience driving finance transformation and post-merger integration (PMI) initiatives within large organizations.Exceptional leadership skills, coupled with excellent communication and teamwork abilities, thriving in an international and multicultural environment as well as a deep awareness of cultural nuances, customs, and etiquette in the region.Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use.What we offer
