We are looking for a talented
Active Directory Engineer
to join our team for a multinational leader in the banking sector, located in Madrid.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration, monitoring and continuous improvement of the on-premises Active Directory infrastructure.
  • Ensuring system availability, reliability and performance through proactive monitoring, capacity planning and lifecycle management.
  • Deployment, patching and version upgrades in line with vendor support and best practices.
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of incidents related to authentication, directory services and infrastructure components.
  • Design and implementation of RBAC-based delegation models.
  • Integration and support of non-Microsoft systems using LDAP.
  • Automation and scripting using PowerShell to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues.


Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Active Directory On-premise Infrastructure team (level 3) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory services, including AD Trusts, GPO, DHCP, DNS, Kerberos, NTLM authentication, and Certificates.
  • Familiarity with authentication protocols and integration with non-Microsoft systems.
  • Experience in implementation and Patch Management.
  • Proficient in general troubleshooting and logs management.
  • Ability to quickly solve problems and delegate or automate processes.
  • Fluency in English for effective communication with international teams, both verbal and written.
