Real Estate Company is hiring an Intern Junior Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate has a high level of English, excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and advanced excel skills. Financial modelling and previous Real Estate experience are highly regarded but not essential.

Objectives and Responsibilities

Some of the tasks expected for the position include (among other):

●      Support the team with periodic reporting to financial institutions and upper management. Work on PowerPoint presentations when needed.

●      Collaborate in the analysis of potential projects to enhance returns on the existing portfolio.

●      Conduct market research to evaluate current portfolio performance and potential investments. Explore market trends and understand the current situation.

●      Help conducting Due Diligence processes with external suppliers.

●      Review and discuss valuations, Due Diligence reports, investment memorandum.

●      Attend meetings with external parties: sellers, financial entities, investment funds, brokers, etc.

●      Attend asset visits for investment opportunities.

●      Get Familiar with all related documentation: investment documentation (i.e., SPA), financial accounts, mortgages, lease contracts, etc.

●      Will be focused on the Spanish market.

●      Assist on the underwriting for new investment opportunities.

●      Aid in the communication and relationship with corporate partners.

Qualifications:

●      Excel skills are valued. We will also value previous experience with financial modelling such as being familiar with real estate comparable and/or DCF valuation, debt structures, equity model, and others; to analyse outputs (IRR, Equity Multiple, cash-on-cash ratios…).

●      Interest in real estate or related sectors: residential development, hospitality, commercial real estate, real estate valuations, private equity, or other.

●      Either Business or architecture background, with good communication skills.

●      Attention to detail, organisation skills, independent and proactive, team player

●      English Level B2-C1 (fluent speaker).

●      Ability to work full time in Madrid, 3-6 months.
